TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Information on how to participate in the Gallagher Golden Goals Promotion (Promotion) and redeem free products from the in-built Prize Store form part of these conditions. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
- The Promotion commences on Monday 28th July 2025 and finishes Saturday 25 October 2025 (the Promotion Period). A grace period of 2 weeks shall be applied to all users to enable them to redeem any unspent points at the Prize Store after the final NPC match concludes. Any attempts to redeem the Promotion elements outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
- There are two ways to participate in Gallagher Golden Goals, through the “Golden Goals Arcade Mode” and “Kick Predict Mode”.
GOLDEN GOALS ARCADE MODE
- To enter through the Arcade Mode, Entrants must play the Golden Goals game at www.goldengoals.co.nz to score points based on successful ‘kicks’. A successful kick is deemed to have the ball pass between the rugby posts, above the crossbar.
- Each successful kick awards the Entrant 100 points to their total and progresses them to the next level. Occasionally rings will appear between the rugby posts, hitting the rings with the rugby ball awards the Entrant an additional 100 points. Points can be redeemed at the Prize Store within the Golden Goals digital experience.
- Missed kicks results in zero points awarded and the Entrant will be returned to the level of the last checkpoint passed. Checkpoints are every 5 levels up to level 50, where checkpoints then become every 10 levels.
KICK PREDICT
- To enter through the Kick Predict Mode, Entrants must play the Kick Predict game at www.goldengoals.co.nz/predict, also accessible from the Golden Goals Arcade Game. Entrants must correctly predict which team will score the first converted try and in which of 3 field segments it took place. Correct predictions award the Entrant with points added to their total.
- Predictions can be made for every National Provincial Championship (NPC) game and every Farrah Palmer Cup (FPC) game in the 2025 season. The live game results reported by Stats Perform will determine correct and incorrect predictions.
- Predictions for each round will open on the Monday of that week. Users must return weekly to place the next rounds’ predictions.
- Predictions must be placed before the match begins. At the commencement of play predictions placed prior to the starting whistle will lock and no further predictions may be entered.
- Successfully converted tries are the only means in which an Entrant may earn points via Kick Predict. For the avoidance of confusion, Kick Predict ignores all other points scored during the match including unconverted tries, drop goals and penalty goals. Where a match has no successfully converted tries, no points will be awarded.
- The 3 segments are defined as Region 1: left of posts, Region 2: between posts and Region 3: right of posts. In accordance with World Rugby Laws of the Game, tries grounded in front of the post pads, but touching the post pads are deemed a successful try. For the purposes of Gallagher Golden Goals, any try scored where the ball is touching the post pad will be deemed as Region 2: between the posts, even when the ball is visually on the outside of the post. Tries scored outside the posts and not touching the post pads will be deemed tries in Region 1 or Region 3 respectively.
- Eligible region determination may be at The Promoter’s discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entrants who correctly predict the first converted try scoring team in any eligible match will be rewarded 500 points. Additionally, correct predictions in Region 1 or Region 3 with yield another 500 points and correct predictions in Region 2 will yield another 1000 points. Points are awarded separately for team and region predictions, so correct team predictions and incorrect region predictions (and vice versa) will still award the Entrant points for their correct prediction.
PRIZE STORE
- Each product in the Prize Store will have a points value assigned to it. Once redeemed, the corresponding value will be deducted from the Entrants total spendable balance. Redeeming prizes does not affect the total points earned, used for ranking players based on performance, as displayed on the Leaderboard.
- Prizes may be removed, substituted or otherwise altered at any time, at The Promoters discretion, including restrictions on the number of prizes redeemable by any single user.
- Entrants will be unable to redeem prizes unless they complete their user profile including username, legal name, phone, email address and mailing address.
- Prizes are dispatched to the Entrant’s saved mailing address by The Promo Lab Limited within 3 business days of redemption. When the prize is not physical (like match tickets) these will come from Gallagher Insurance NZ. Confirmation of prizes will be via email to the Entrant’s saved email address. The Promoter is not responsible for any undelivered communications to the Entrant.
- Any points not redeemed in the time and manner specified in these Terms and Conditions will be deemed forfeited. No compensation will be payable if an entrant is unable to claim their prize for whatever reason. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
GENERAL
- Points have no monetary value and are thus not transferable, changeable, or redeemable for cash. No compensation will be paid to any person if a winner is unable to redeem a Prize for whatever reason.
- By entering contact details through the Gallagher Golden Goals digital experience, Entrants consent to the Promoter contacting them at the contact details provided.
- The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize to any winner if, in the Promoter’s opinion, that winner has breached these terms and conditions or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.
- In the event that the Prize, or any part of a Prize, becomes unavailable for any reason, The Promoter may provide an alternative Prize, refund the total Points redeemed, or void the transaction entirely at their discretion.
- By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
- Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- All decisions made by the Promoter, its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following:
- any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control)
- any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference
- any entry or offer claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected
- any variation in the offer;
- any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant
- use or acceptance of a Prize/offer
- As a condition of participating in the Promotion, all promotional products redeemed by participants will indemnify the promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with this Promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including costs on a solicitor-client basis) which the Promoter and its affiliates may incur arising out of the participation in the Promotion or (if applicable) participation of the Promotion, any breach of these terms and conditions, or any wrongful or illegal act or omission, howsoever caused.
- Any person suspected of cheating in the opinion of the Promoter through the manipulation of entry, creation or use of software to aid in multiple entries and otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting in any way fraudulent, in the opinion of the Promoter, will be removed from this Promotion and damages may be sought.
- The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided by Entrants for the purposes of this Promotion and for future promotional purposes. For the purposes of notifying winners and facilitating redemption of the Prizes, the Promoter may pass the winners’ personal details to its agencies and other associated organisations. Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a Prize. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may access and request correction of any of the details about them held by the Promoter by sending an email to sponsorship@ajg.co.nz
